App Privacy Policy

Effective: June 23, 2026 · Last updated: June 23, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the Mighty Pedia mobile application (the "App") handles information. It applies only to the App. Our websites (mightypedia.com and ludolumi.com) are covered by a separate policy at mightypedia.com/privacy.

Mighty Pedia is a children's app designed to reduce health-related anxiety through interactive storybooks and games. We built it to be privacy-protective by default: the App does not require an account, does not ask children for personal details, and contains no third-party advertising or third-party analytics.

2. Who we are

The App is published by Ludolumi Holdings Inc. ("Ludolumi," "we," "us," or "our"), an Idaho corporation doing business as Mighty Pedia.

Contact: info@ludolumi.com

3. Our commitment to children's privacy (COPPA)

Mighty Pedia is intended for children and is designed to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA").

  • We do not ask children to provide personal information such as their name, email address, phone number, photos, or precise location.
  • We do not use behavioral advertising, and we do not allow third-party advertising networks or third-party analytics in the App.
  • The limited technical data we do collect (described in Section 4) is used only to support the internal operations of the App — running and improving it, fixing crashes, and preventing abuse of access codes. Under COPPA, this "support for internal operations" use does not require verifiable parental consent, because the data is never used to contact a child, to advertise, or for any purpose beyond operating the App.
  • Purchases and the parent-verification step are placed behind a parental gate, so a child cannot complete them without an adult.

4. Information we collect

We collect a small amount of technical data, and we are deliberate about what we do not collect.

4.1 What we collect

  • A device identifier. When a family activates the App with a dental practice's access code, the App generates a random, app-specific identifier for the device and sends it once to our servers to link that code to that device. Our servers store only a one-way cryptographic hash of this identifier. It is not your device's advertising ID, and it is not shared with anyone. It exists to prevent a single code from being used on an unlimited number of devices.
  • Gameplay analytics. The App records simple, aggregate events such as which activity was opened. These events are tagged only to the dental practice associated with the App — not to any individual child or device. We use this to understand which content is helpful.
  • Crash diagnostics. If the App crashes, it sends us a technical error report (the error details, the App version, and whether the device is iOS or Android) so we can fix the problem. These reports contain no personal information.

4.2 What we do NOT collect

  • No name, email address, phone number, or mailing address.
  • No precise or background location.
  • No access to contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
  • No birth year is ever stored or transmitted. The parent-verification screen asks for a birth year only to confirm an adult is present; the value is checked on the device and immediately discarded.
  • No advertising identifiers, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking.

Purchases. The optional one-time unlock purchase is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple and Google handle that information under their own privacy policies.

5. How we use information

We use the limited data above solely to:

  • Operate core features (e.g., binding an access code to a device).
  • Maintain and improve the App and its content.
  • Diagnose and fix crashes and technical problems.
  • Protect against fraud or abuse of access codes.

We do not use any data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making about individuals.

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers that host our infrastructure and store data on our behalf (for example, our cloud hosting and storage providers), bound by contract to protect it and use it only to provide services to us.
  • App stores (Apple, Google) for purchase processing, as described above.
  • Legal requirements, if we are required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or Ludolumi.
  • Business transfers, if Ludolumi is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to govern the data or you will be notified of any new policy.

7. Parental rights and choices

Because the App does not collect personal information directly from children and uses technical data only for internal operations, there is no child profile or account to review. Even so, parents and guardians may contact us at info@ludolumi.com at any time to:

  • Ask what information is associated with their device or access code.
  • Request deletion of that information.
  • Ask questions about these practices.

You can also remove all locally stored data at any time by deleting the App from the device.

8. Data retention

We retain the hashed device identifier and access-code association for as long as the code is active, and aggregate analytics and crash reports for a limited period needed to operate and improve the App. We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed for these purposes, or sooner on request.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards — including encryption in transit and storing device identifiers only as one-way hashes — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit what we collect in the first place.

10. Third-party services

The App relies on a small number of third parties strictly to function:

  • Apple App Store / Google Play — app distribution and purchase processing.
  • Our cloud hosting and storage providers — to deliver content (such as a practice's branding) and to receive the analytics and crash reports described above.

The App contains no third-party advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics SDKs.

11. International users

The App is operated from the United States. If you use the App from outside the U.S., the limited technical data described here will be processed in the United States.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
