Mighty Pedia was founded by Phil and Kristine Balisciano. Phil spent 15 years making games and stories for kids at brands like Disney and PBS Kids. Kristine brings experience in agency operations, public health, and education.
Why pediatric dentistry.
We wanted to build something that helps kids’ health from the very beginning. When we dug into the research, dental anxiety kept coming up. It’s common, it’s real, and it can shape how a child trusts doctors and cares for their health for the rest of their life.
We spent years making games, websites, and animation for kids, from movie sites for Frozen and Wreck-It Ralph to Disney’s As Told By Emoji, which passed 150 million views. Mighty Pedia is where we put those skills to work on something that actually helps.
